Hi, my name is Marin Murray, and I am a senior this year. This is my fourth year being on the newspaper staff, and my second year as editor-in-chief! I am also a part of the varsity cross country, soccer, and track teams and am a student representative for FCA. I have gone to state for journalism for the past two years and hope to pursue a career in journalism after high school!

 My name is Barrett Roberson, and this is my second year on the newspaper staff! I am going into my second year of theatre and my first year as theatre president. I love sports and am a huge Cowboys fan (this is our year)! I plan on majoring in journalism at ACU and becoming a sports broadcaster or getting a job in sports media.

Hi! I’m Teresa! This is my first year on newspaper, and I can’t wait for this year to experience being on staff. I LOVE helping people and looking towards maybe teaching and just doing stuff with human services. I’m in AV production at the LIFT and want to get into creative shooting and photography.

Hi, my name is Willoe, and this is my first year of being on newspaper. I am really proud of being on newspaper and yearbook. I give my all in everything I do and I will always make sure I put my school work first. I love writing and interviewing people as I get an inside view of the people of our school.  Hi! My name is Vivian Dyer. I’m a sophomore, and I am so excited for this to be my first year on newspaper! I am also in my second year of being on the AHS Drumline for the Eagle Band. Music and writing are both strong passions of mine, along with being a devoted soccer fan. I hope to pursue a career of making people happy by writing music.

Hi! My name is Leilani Valero, and I’m a sophomore this year. This is my first year doing AHS Battery and I love it so far! I love being around friends and family. I play soccer, softball, and run on the side, and I hope one of these will take me to college! I want to be a neonatal nurse when I get older, because I love babies and taking care of people.
