Announced during the summer, seniors Beckham Paul and Brady Bennett earned all-state awards for their athletic performances during the previous baseball season.

“The season went really well, especially compared to the year before that,” Paul said. “I think our team was a lot better together than the year previous.”

The team had a good run during their 2023 season, going 8-6 in district and 16-14 overall for the season. They also had a big run in the playoffs making it three rounds.

“I received second team all-state, and I was a part of the super elite team,” Bennett said. “The super elite team is the best players out of their position, and they make a team out of state.”

Head coach Thomas Harman had a few words about the previous season and about the outstanding season Bennett and Paul had.

“We had a good season,” Harman said. “We got a lot of our key players back, but last season does not determine how this year will go. We will continue to work hard to have another good run in the playoffs. Bennett and Paul had an outstanding season, they are very good players and still have room to grow.”
